The Board

Hawkley’s board has international public company experience through executive and non-executive roles in locations such as London, Toronto and Australia. Hawkley boasts a professional team of technical experts that have significant experience in the field. The team’s focus is on identifying, acquiring and developing projects that will maximise shareholder returns.


David Lloyd – Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Lloyd has substantial commercial experience in the private sector. He has had commercial interests in the petroleum sector spanning 30 years, with the first ventures transactioning sales of Oil & Gas subsidiaries of US Multi Nationals to Australian listed entities. Subsequently he partnered with Exploration and Production projects in Texas and took the opportunity to undertake international prujects. David has developed a broad network of consultancy based resources primarily located in Texas, Colorado and Alberta.

 

Bill Foster - Non-Executive Director

Mr Foster is a petroleum engineer with more than forty year's experience in the oil and gas industry specialising in operational management, exploration, business development and corporate strategy. Bill has been an advisor to one of the major Japanese trading companies for over 20 years and has been intimately involved in growing their E&P and LNG business. Previously, Bill held managerial positions in E&P companies and consultant companies servicing the sector, including Adelaide Petroleum, Kufpec, Chevron and Pipetech. In these roles he played a significant  role in business development activities and was successful in growing the businesses. Bill is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is currently a director of Carnarvon Petroleum Ltd and was previously chairman of Red River Resources Ltd.

 
 

Edmund Babington - Non-Executive Director

Mr Babington is a Director of the Western Australian law firm, Lyons Babington Lawyers. He is also a member of AMPLA (the Australian resources and energy law association), the Franchise Council of Australia and is a Western Australian committee member of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers. Mr Babington is a specialist in mining and resources law and the law relating to capital raisings, stock exchange requirements, corporate governance and compliance for public companies.

 

Murray Wylie - Company Secretary

Mr Wylie has more than 30 years experience in governance and accounting roles in both the public and private sectors. Mr Wylie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia. Mr Wylie is Company Secertary for several ASX and AIM listed companies.
